In each case it appeared that a new round tried to feed with the casing still in the barrel and in one case the casing was actually pushed into the barrel.The CPX-2 is set up for double-action-only (DAO). On my sample, the effort to pull the trigger back registered at 10 pounds with the usual stacking as the mechanism reached its most rearward position. It was very smooth, and I found that pulling the trigger back many, many times resulted in a very consistent pull.

Even after using them for a while, it's still very hard to get more than 3 or 4 rounds in them. I took off the floor plate and pulled the spring out a couple of turns and held it firm.
